Creative writing is a universal form of communication that incorporates both the practical and the creative to influence the world. In today’s society, we need writers who can translate the values and the beauty of God into personal stories, making Jesus available to a crowd that doesn’t like church or religion. 

 

The creative writing ministry takes you through lessons touching on different writing styles such as poetry, fiction, spoken word, article writing, and more. Each lesson will include, research, writing exercises and assignments that will help us strengthen our writing abilities, and give us the opportunity to try new writing forms. 

 

And as a ministry we not only want to help writers grow in their practical skills, but we aim to show them how to use their writing as a form of missions. Writing gives us the opportunity to declare Truth to people further than our voices can reach through our writing platforms. We aim to write with an outward focus, looking to connect with other writers and creatives, and to share God’s truth with others through our art in a way that is both impactful and accessible. We need to speak His words over a new generation that has never met Him… Are you in?
